In this example, we will add a Measure for a MYOB Database using a custom SQl Query.

Click 'Setup'





Expand the 'Dashboard' node and select the Dashboard where you want the gauge to display.

Click the 'New Measure' button




Enter the name of your new measure




Click the 'next' button




Select the 'BAM System Data Source' option

Click the 'Next' button.


Locate the path to your MYOB data file, clearwater in this case.

Click the 'next' button



Enter the SQL Query you want to use.



Click the 'Next' button.



Select the type of Gauge to use. for example the 'Historical Line' gauge is good for displaying status changes over time.

Click the 'next' button




Enter the monitoring Interval in seconds. For example 240 for 4 minutes.
Click the 'next' button




Set the Notification and Alert options.

Click the 'next' button
Close the Settings window.



Your new measure will be displayed on your Dashboard.
